Event Project Manager

We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join a top live events agency, specialising in large-scale UK and international festivals, music, sports, and entertainment events.

As a key player in the team, you will oversee the planning, budgeting, and execution of high-profile events, acting as the main client contact and taking full commercial ownership from start to finish. Working closely with all departments, you'll ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with internal teams to plan all aspects of an event
• Contribute to pitches and work alongside budget planners to ensure accurate costings
• Manage project teams (stock, staffing, finance, operations, etc.) to deliver events successfully
• Serve as the main client contact alongside a dedicated Account Manager
• Oversee budgets, ensuring profit targets are met
• Develop strategies to enhance guest experience and maximise revenue
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and operational policies
• Manage site operations, including logistics, security, staffing, stock, production, and F&B services
• Work closely with subcontractors and suppliers
• Troubleshoot issues and make decisive decisions under pressure

About You:

• 2-3 years of experience in event project management, ideally working on large-scale events (5K+ attendees)
• Experience in bars, hospitality, or greenfield festival environments is a plus
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office
• Passionate about events and delivering memorable experiences
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
