Job description
My client is a global digital marketing agency specialising in content, digital and paid media advertising for a host of well-known B2B and B2C ecommerce companies and brands.
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes social media, content ideation and creation, to join our rapidly growing agency.
You will be working with the client services, creative, production, performance and social teams, to deliver high-impact social media content and paid media strategies across a range of national and international brands.
The Role
- Plan, develop and implement effective social strategies and content plans across major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Podcasts) – Paid and organic.
- Work closely with Creative and Production teams to ideate and execute campaigns using various media formats.
- Assist in developing and managing content creator campaigns.
- Develop tone of voice guidelines.
- Schedule and deliver content across client channels, including Community Management as required.
- Develop comprehensive monthly reports, with analysis, to provide insights and recommendations.
- Project manage all activity and processes required to proficiently run and create campaigns.
- Monitor and implement industry social trends and maintain an in-depth understanding of the marketplace and the social landscape.
The Person
- At least 3 years working in a commercial Social Media role. – Ideally agency, however in-house B2C/D2C/ecom highly considered.
- Excellent knowledge of social media channels including content planning, ideations and reporting.
- Experience in any of the following is a bonus: influencer marketing, community management, creative briefing, data driven listening tools, comprehensive reporting, conceptualising, developing or delivering Paid Social campaigns across key channels (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn & TikTok).
- Confident and articulate, with the ability to ideate, voice and share ideas and opinions both internally and with clients.
- Strong creativity with high attention to detail.
- Able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- A problem-solver who is proactive, driven, and ultra-organised.
- Great team player with a client-centric focus and the ability to build strong and effective working relationships.
