Job description
This fast-growth, global (UK & US) brand in the accessories/luggage space has carved out a niche where function meets fashion by focusing on sustainable, stylish, weather-resistant and colourful designs.
We are seeking a dynamic D2C Trading Manager to take them to the next level.
This is an exciting role for an experienced Ecommerce or Digital Trading Manager looking for a career defining opportunity to drive significant results within a fast-growing global brand with a purpose.
As D2C Trading Manager you will be responsible for driving digital sales performance and enhancing the online customer experience. This role involves developing and executing digital trading strategies, analysing sales and site metrics and collaborating with various teams to optimise product offerings and marketing efforts.
Salary up to £55k basic
Fully remote (must be UK based)
The Role
- Plan and set the setting the commercial sales plans from top line numbers to period re-forecasts and KPI setting across our UK and US websites and Marketplace channels.
- Build a site calendar of trading events to meet the needs of the market and maximize sales opportunities.
- Propose and manage promotions to drive profitable sales growth and to support key trading and seasonal events.
- Analyze sales performance and site trading metrics and make recommendations to drive growth.
- Champion the online user experience and customer journeys to drive a programme of CRO and website optimisation.
- Build and manage detailed web analytics to understand customer behaviour online and share KPIs.
- Manage on site merchandising of products to optimize sales.
- Manage the program of cross sell and up sell opportunities to boost AOV and ABU.
- Collaborate closely with product, merchandising and marketing teams.
- Use data-driven insights to influence business decisions.
The Person
- Ideally at least 3 years of experience in B2C / D2C Digital Trading or E-commerce. Role, ideally within a fashion/accessories brand/business.
- Expert knowledge of Shopify Plus and compatible tech ecosystem.
- Expert knowledge of Google Analytics with strong analytical skills and proficiency in using forecasting and analytics tools to make data driven decisions.
- Knowledge of US market and cross border commerce, would be highly beneficial.
- Understanding of SEO/PPC/Affiliates/CRM and traffic driving strategies.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams, influence stakeholders, and drive results.
- Ability to work on own initiative remotely and within a small high performing team.
